Jaclyn Benedict- Gems, Minerals & Jewelry

Jaclyn Benedict’s exhibit will include cut and rough gem material, jewelry, collectable mineral specimens and fossils from around the world.

Colored stones fascinate Jaclyn. She began experimenting with and using many different and unusual types of gem material in her pieces. “I like my jewelry to reflect the personality of the wearer. I prefer my stones to be free-form and the finished piece to certainly not be something you would find in a jewelry store.” Jaclyn has traveled across the United States visiting sites where she has been able to dig gem material.

Jaclyn has exhibited in numerous juried art shows and gem & mineral shows and she is a member of the Cathedral Square Gallery, Mobile, Alabama’s only artists' co-op.
